This web site is created and managed by Bill Martin and Sandra Mason (Mrs Martin). Their aim is to create interest in and awareness of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, especially the important anniversaries coming in 2009. Bill and Sandra have a long standing interest in the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, particularly the interpretation of these quatrains by Edward FitzGerald, and the numerous illustrated versions of FitzGerald’s Rubaiyat. They were formerly specialist researchers in the leisure field with an established international reputation, and they have published extensively on leisure and related topics..
